The Discovery Stop offers a HUGE, custom-designed indoor playground that is designed with numerous play events that is both exciting and challenging for your child.
In addition, The Discovery Stop offers multiple Discovery Stops that were designed by a professional educator to provide various educational opportunities through play. Is your child feeling creative? Let your child explore the Art Stop stocked with activities that change daily. In the mood to build? Visit the Construction Stop and let your child’s imagination soar.

The Discovery Stop was designed BY parents, FOR parents with SAFETY and CLEANLINESS being our top priorities. For this reason, The Discovery Stop maintains the following:
- NO SHOE Policy (socks required); however, everyone is welcome to bring slippers to wear
- NO Food or Drink allowed outside of the Café area

NO Nuts or Peanuts sold or allowed on the premises
- Wrist-band Security for all visitors
- Open-Concept Design
- No child is admitted without a parent or guardian, 18 years or older
- No adult admitted if not accompanied by a child
The idea for The Discovery Stop was conceived after speaking with many parents and educators from Londonderry and the surrounding communities. They all agreed that we needed to have more educational places for children to visit, to develop both physically and intellectually. Studies have shown that play is an essential part of childhood development. Physical benefits include the development of muscle groups, motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity. There is also evidence that play improves language, communication, and learning skills while building self-confidence.
Today's parents, like ourselves, are looking for a safe, fun and affordable environment to take their families. In today’s fast-paced society, time is extremely valuable and it’s important to have a family friendly destination that is more than just amusements, but also a fun and educational way to spend that time together.
You won’t find video games and tokens at The Discovery Stop, but you will find a safe, CLEAN environment for your children to explore. You won’t hear the buzz of electronic sounds, but you will hear laughter and find yourself in a facility designed to maximize your child’s enjoyment as well as your own.
